Pruitt House Halloween Lights

Thanks for you interest in our Halloween display!
Below you will find several common questions and answers we receive about the display:
| Why do you do this? |
A few years ago my wife and I started sponsoring a family for Christmas. The idea carried over to all of the girls in her salon (www.jenniferjosephssalon.com) and soon, with the help of their clients, grew into something much larger. Last year they helped 48 families have a Christmas through the Henry County Board of Education Angel Tree Kids.
The light display for Halloween and Christmas is an extension of this idea. We accept donations at the drop box at the display (the box is emptied every night and is attached to an alarm system), or if you prefer you can use the link on the left to donate online. |

| How does the display work? |
The lights and music are all computer controlled. The music is imported into the computer and then a sequence is built one beat at a time based on the song. Each change in the lights has been added by hand. There is no "automatic" flashing or sequencing done by the computer.
Once the music and lighting sequences are finished they are played back by the computer and sent to a low-power FM transmitter and a series of electronic switches simultaneously. |

| Who did the scary voice? |
| The voice overs were done by David Prothro, and were recorded here at the studio and mixed with the other ambient sounds you hear. David works at the local music store here (Record Heaven) and has always had a sense of humor and the ability to do these funny accents. He was the first one I thought of when I started this project. |

| How long does it take to build the display? |
| The Halloween display can be put up in a weekend. It took about 20 hours to sequence in all of the songs and the space between. |

| Can you build a display for my home or business? |
